To standardize the output of various types of protection information and unify the information output content and description of the tested devices, power grid companies have formulated input and output information formats for relay protection devices, such as the Six Unifications and Nine Unifications specifications. In recent years, relay protection automation testing technology has gradually developed and been put into application. However, due to the limitations of the relay protection tester architecture, automatic testing technology is difficult to apply to the simultaneous testing of multiple protection devices. Wuhan Haomai has continuously carried out R&D and improvement, and launched the Relay Protection Automatic Testing Intelligent Synchronous Verification Platform, which enables one relay protection tester to automatically test multiple relay protection devices and has achieved excellent test results.

One-click Closed-loop Automatic TestingThe automatic test system automatically matches the test scheme according to the model of the tested device, reads the current setting values of the tested device, and automatically calculates the test parameters of each electrical quantity. During quantity injection testing, the platform automatically modifies the control word or soft press plate status according to the content of the test items, activates the corresponding report control blocks, reads the action signals or telemetry information of the protection devices, automatically assigns them to the corresponding protection devices based on their IP addresses, judges the test results, and forms multiple closed-loop test circuits.
Test Template Repository MechanismTest template information of all protection devices in the substation is stored in a hierarchical and classified manner according to voltage class/protection type/manufacturer/device model/software version, etc. Only the devices to be tested need to be selected for synchronous automated testing.
Flexible Scheme Template GenerationFlexible editing can be performed according to the items to be tested, including adding new test items, press plate and control word operations, electrical quantity items, setting value association, and parameter formula editing.
Synchronous Automatic TestingA single relay protection tester is used to conduct quantity injection automated testing on multiple protection devices simultaneously. Each port of the tester features independent timing output to achieve synchronous testing, which greatly improves the efficiency of relay protection testing.
Visualized and Automatically Generated ReportsReport preview is available throughout the automatic testing process, and standardized, normalized and customized reports are automatically generated.
