Wuhan Halma Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd. integrates and applies semiconductor laser technology and photo-acoustic spectrum gas detection technology to smart grid field in a pioneering manner in the industry, and develops and produces PASL-3000 laser photo-acoustic spectrum transformer oil gas online monitoring system, which can realize online detection of hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), ethylene (C2H4), ethane (C2H6), acetylene (C2H2) and other fault gases in transformer insulating oil.
The system covers a number of patented technologies. For the first time in China, the laser light source has been used to detect the fault gas of transformer insulating oil. In the centralized comparison and evaluation conducted by China Electric Power Research Institute in 2023, the performance has reached the A1 level standard. As a technical upgrading product of gas chromatography and traditional photo-acoustic spectroscopy, the system has the advantages of no need to replace carrier gas, no gas cross interference, high accuracy, good stability, etc. It can further improve the primary fault detection rate of the main transformer, reduce the fault rate of the transformer, and reduce the operation and maintenance costs, so as to improve the safe operation level of the main equipment such as the transformer, realize the quality and efficiency improvement of the power grid operation, and its operation convenience, maintenance convenience and measurement accuracy are widely praised by users.

  • Monitoring of fault gas in the whole component oil: use laser photoacoustic spectrum to analyze and detect the contents of 8 kinds of fault gas components, including H2, CO, CO2, CH4, C2H4, C2H6, C2H2 and micro-water, and measure the contents of N2 and O2 components in the oil
  • Installation without carrier gas and power failure: take samples directly through the oil intake, and return the oil sample to the oil tank after analysis. There is no power failure during installation. No carrier gas and recalibration are required during operation, which is really maintenance-free
