From July 15-26, 2024, 30 electrical engineering students from Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST) completed a transformative internship at Wuhan Haomai’s ISO-certified training base. Led by Prof. Fan Xinggang, the program combined cutting-edge R&D exposure with hands-on substation equipment training to bridge academia-industry gaps. 

2. Curriculum Design
✅ Core Modules:
	- Industry Trends: Smart grid innovations & digital relay advancements.
- Product Demos: Testing workflows for Haomai CT/PT analyzers & HTB-8000 high-current systems.
- Lab Training: Performance validation in HV test labs (IEC 61869 protocols).
✅ Workshops:
	- PCB assembly & quality control in production lines.
- Real-time fault simulation in smart substation scenarios.
 
3. Factory Rotations
Students rotated through key departments:
	- R&D Center: Co-developed relay protection algorithms.
- Production Line: Assembled HAOMAI CTP-200 PT analyzers.
- QA Lab: Executed EMC tests per IEC 61326-1 standards.
4. Career Development Sessions
Haomai HR delivered actionable guidance on:
